Senior Legal Expert

Tennessee Soudain is a senior legal expert who monitors sustainable finance and corporate responsibility regulatory developments. She contributes to ECOFACT’s Policy Outlook analyses as well as to ECOFACT’s environmental and social due diligence and ESG risk management consultancies.

With a strong interest in human rights, she believes that companies and financial actors have an important role to play in achieving a more sustainable world and economy. Her academic and professional choices have been guided by this conviction.

She completed her law studies (bachelor’s and master’s degrees) at the Universities of Lille and Strasbourg, where she subsequently graduated with a doctorate in law. Her Ph.D. examined the human rights responsibilities of companies. She joined ECOFACT after having worked within the legal team of the Swiss Barry Callebaut Group, a global leader in high-quality chocolate and cocoa products.
