Bruno Bischoff
Head of ESG Risk Advisory
ContactContact

Bruno Bischoff is Head of ESG Risk Advisory at ECOFACT. Together with his team, Bruno advises clients on environmental and social risk management processes and policies and conducts risk assessments of companies, transactions, and investments. He also leads ECOFACT’s annual Environmental and Social Risk Management Roundtable.

Bruno believes the financial sector can motivate its clients to direct financial flows toward more sustainable, lower-carbon, biodiversity-friendly, and circular business models. Doing this requires careful analysis of companies’ activities, identifying and prioritizing the environmental, social, and governance risks and opportunities related to products and services.

Prior to joining ECOFACT, Bruno was responsible for sustainability risk management at Credit Suisse. He served as Managing Director and led a global team with a bank-wide mandate. Bruno holds a master degree from Zurich University in political science and English philology; he completed a post-graduate course on professional public relations and media at the Swiss School of Journalism and attended Cambridge University’s Program for Sustainability Leadership. He is the author of several articles and reports and a guest lecturer at Zurich University for Applied Sciences (ZHAW).
